A House with Cosmic Roots

A House with Cosmic Roots is an exhibition of Kate Leibrand’s large-scale fiber installations and pen-and-ink illustrations. Her densely woven, richly arranged works evoke landscapes and organic forms, reflecting her training as a designer and her strong command of color and composition across both fabric and drawing.

Leibrand’s fiber installations have been exhibited at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, the Philadelphia Flower Show, Philadelphia International Airport, and the Smithsonian Craft Show. The exhibition also includes her illustrations to show the relationship between her work in pen and ink and her fabric-based practice.
