THIS IS BUZZ

THIS IS BUZZ is a Philadelphia premiere documentary about BUZZ, an experimental MTV docuseries that lasted only 13 episodes in 1990 but explored overlooked corners of life around the world. Built around rapid editing and an avant-garde, dreamlike style, the program anticipated today’s media saturation and was hosted by RuPaul. The film comes from Mark Pellington, the veteran music-video and feature-film director behind *The Mothman Prophecies* and *I Melt with You*.

Pellington will attend the screening in person. The evening also includes a pre-show collection of music videos he directed.
