The Weir
The Weir is Conor McPherson’s atmospheric drama about a group of regulars gathered in a remote Irish pub. When Valerie, a woman newly arrived from Dublin, joins them, the men trade increasingly elaborate stories about strange happenings in the area as they try to impress her. The evening takes a poignant turn when one of the tales proves to be both deeply personal and hauntingly true.
Directed by Matt Pfeiffer, the production explores loneliness, friendship, storytelling, and the unexpected connections that can emerge among strangers.
