Golden Gays: Sophia Got Run Over by a Reindeer

Golden Gays: Sophia Got Run Over by a Reindeer is a world-premiere Christmas musical from the creator of the Golden Girls-inspired shows *Thank YULE for Being a Friend* and *Hot Flashbacks*. After Dorothy, Blanche, and Rose receive a ransom note from Freida Claxton, they travel from Atlanta to Brooklyn, St. Olaf, and ultimately the North Pole to investigate whether Sophia Petrillo was truly run over by a reindeer—or whether Freida is behind another scheme in her campaign to deforest the entire world.

The production combines familiar holiday songs, Golden Girls references, and the comic antics associated with The Golden Gays. It is presented as a new holiday tradition for longtime fans of the television series and Golden Gays performances.
