Workshop: Collagraphs with Tetra Pak
Workshop: Collagraphs with Tetra Pak is a two-session printmaking class at PAFA focused on transforming recycled Tetra Pak cartons into collagraph printing plates. Participants will learn to cut, drypoint, and print the material, beginning with image design and matrix preparation in the first session and completing the printing process during the second.
The workshop offers an approachable introduction to collagraph techniques using found materials. Tetra Pak is a paper-based carton commonly used for liquids such as coconut water; its silver, wax-coated surface can be altered to reveal paper fibers and create printable designs. Supplies are provided, though participants may bring their own paper.
