The Drowsy Chaperone

The Drowsy Chaperone is a fast-paced, Tony-winning musical comedy and affectionate tribute to musical theatre. A devoted fan plays a favorite cast recording, transporting a glamorous 1920s stage musical into his living room. The lively story features romantic complications, extravagant gangsters, tap-dancing groomsmen, glamorous brides, show-stopping numbers, and a particularly tipsy chaperone.

Music and lyrics are by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison, with a book by Bob Martin and Don McKellar. The production promises big laughs, clever absurdity, and an escapist celebration of theatrical fun.
