Andy Falco and Travis Book Play Jerry Garcia

Andy Falco and Travis Book, both members of the Grammy Award–winning bluegrass group The Infamous Stringdusters, come together for an intimate tribute to Jerry Garcia. The duo performs music from Garcia’s solo work, the Grateful Dead catalog, and traditional songs Garcia frequently played.

The project began as an informal backstage tradition, with Falco and Book warming up by playing Garcia songs before Stringdusters shows. Their duo arrangements use guitar and bass to create a more interactive, improvisational setting that highlights the strength of Garcia’s songwriting and allows the musicians to explore the material in a distinctly stripped-down format.
