40 North 2nd Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Arden Theatre Company presents Suzan-Lori Parks’s Pulitzer Prize-winning drama *Topdog/Underdog*, co-produced with People’s Light. The play follows adult brothers Lincoln and Booth, whose father gave them jokingly ominous names that seem to define a life of rivalry and resentment. Sharing a room, they trade stories, challenge one another, and orbit the street hustle of three-card monte while confronting the choices, losses, and uncertain futures shaped by the hands they have been dealt.

The production is directed by Amina Robinson and features a creative team led by scenic designer David P. Gordon, costume designer Leigh Ivory Clark Paradise, lighting designer J. Dominic Chacon, sound designer Caroline Eng, dramaturg Gina Pisasale, fight director Eli Lynn, and stage manager Matthew Ryan Melchior.
