2 Square features John Lutz and Peter Grosz building an entire longform improv performance from a single audience suggestion. Over approximately 45 minutes, they portray dozens of characters, create settings throughout the theater, and connect a kaleidoscope of scenes through absurd transitions, callbacks, and an unfolding comic structure. The show moves from scene to scene without using a “sweep edit,” ultimately weaving its many elements into a satisfying conclusion.
