Celia Feldberg
Celia Feldberg’s resident-artist solo exhibition, Getting There, explores movement and the journeys that shape us. The exhibition features earthenware vessels, pottery, drawings, and wall pieces filled with colorful animal imagery and a storybook sensibility. Migratory animals and depictions of transportation connect the physical experience of traveling from one place to another with the emotional process of moving through uncertainty, memory, and change.
Feldberg’s work combines narrative scenes, humor, vivid color, and functional ceramic forms intended to be lived with and revisited. Illustrations wrap around three-dimensional pieces, encouraging viewers to handle or walk around them to discover the complete story. Inspired by nature, daily life, and small personal moments, the work aims to balance playfulness with poignancy and familiarity with a sense of wonder.
