Dweezil Zappa

Dweezil Zappa presents “DZ20: Like Father, Like Son,” a concert centered on his virtuosic guitar playing and his interpretations of the music of his father, the legendary Frank Zappa. A Grammy-winning guitarist with more than 2,000 performances worldwide, Dweezil blends rock, fusion, experimental music, and his own original compositions while honoring his father’s legacy.

Born in Los Angeles in 1969, Dweezil has spent more than three decades working across music, television, film, and entrepreneurship. His original albums include *Confessions of Deprived Youth* and *Via Zammata*, and his collaborators have included Eddie Van Halen, members of Deep Purple, Lisa Loeb, Chick Corea, Herbie Hancock, and Steve Vai. He also founded the Dweezilla music camp, teaches guitar online, and operates Hikari, a multimedia studio where he has worked as an audio mix engineer.
