caroline

caroline brings the expansive sound of its eight-piece collective to Underground Arts, with support from Threshold. The performance follows the group’s album *caroline 2*, which develops its earlier focus on repetition, slowness, and space through sharper contrasts between organic and electronic textures, processed vocals, layered instrumentation, euphoria, and melancholy. The bill also features Threshold, the recording project of Montana-born, New York-based songwriter Isaac Eiger, whose raw music reaches toward the ineffable.
