Sketching in the Galleries

Sketching in the Galleries invites visitors to explore the Philadelphia Museum of Art through informal, drop-in drawing sessions. Each session takes place in a different gallery and centers on a particular theme or work from the museum’s collection. The gallery location will be announced on the museum’s website before the program and posted at every Visitor Services desk.

Materials are provided, and no prior sketching experience is required. Seating and participation may be limited by the size and restrictions of the gallery. Participants also receive 10% off art supplies at the museum store.

Showtimes: 12:00 p.m.–1:30 p.m.

Venue: Philadelphia Museum of Art, Main Building

Location: Multiple galleries; the specific gallery will be announced in advance and posted at Visitor Services desks
