The Art and Science of Happiness
The Art and Science of Happiness is an in-person wellbeing class at Longwood Gardens exploring the science and practice of happiness through principles from positive psychology. Participants will consider what happiness is and how it influences daily life, then use reflection and simple daily practices to develop and sustain greater well-being for themselves and those around them.
The class is taught by Steve Goodwin, Ph.D., a retired University of Delaware associate professor who developed and began teaching a university course on happiness in 2009. His work has also been presented at local, state, regional, and national conferences.
