Wildlife Tree Ornament Workshop
Celebrate the season through creativity and conservation in this hands-on, in-person workshop inspired by Longwood Gardens’ Wildlife Tree, a beloved holiday tradition that helps nourish wildlife. Participants of all skill levels will make outdoor holiday ornaments from natural, wildlife-safe materials. The finished decorations can beautify outdoor spaces while providing support for local birds and animals through the winter, and participants will take home several handmade creations along with a deeper appreciation for the environment.
The class is led by Jessica Turner-Skoff, Ph.D., Associate Director of Science Communications at Longwood Gardens. Her background includes biodiversity, botanical gardens, zoos, conservation centers, hand-raising baby flamingos, and rearing Monarch butterflies.
